Caught Red-Handed
A new micros-to-full-length begins…
It stung, no, burned to see her friend, supposed best friend, out at the bar with that guy. Amanda pointed him out last week, admitting her crush. He worked with her, not with that backstabbing sneak Lila, who obviously used the first opportunity alone to make a move on him.
Betrayal slithered venomously through her as she approached the giggling couple, just as Lila reached out a hand to touch Ted’s knee.
“This is quite cozy,” Amanda spat out with derision toward the two.
“Amanda!” There was no trace of embarrassment or remorse on Lila’s face. She seemed genuinely glad to see her. “Ted and I were just talking about you!”
