Patricia wasn’t sure if she’d sorted the books correctly. Her mind was spinning with titles, and for some reason the alphabet song replayed in her mind.
“On your knees, bookworm.”
Dominic towered over Patricia. At 6’4”, he looked like a giant to her from the mink fur rug. His golden-hazel eyes pierced through her with mischief and dizzying control.
Seeing Patricia submissive and vulnerable, Dominic’s heart melted like butter.
Dominic opened a cold Perrier that sat underneath a lamp near the bookshelf. As the lip of the emerald glass bottle touched Patricia’s lips, she moaned with relief.
“Thank you, Sir.”
