Crust Cloud has rolled out its new EVM Storage feature, now with support for the Arbitrum chain! This enhancement means users can experience W3Buckets (Web3 storage buckets) and W3Gateways at significantly reduced transaction fees.

Here’s how to get started:

1. Log in to crustcloud.io using MetaMask.

—Within the “cloud” tab, you can view the public chains in use. Switching between wallets allows you to change the public chain. Currently, only Ethereum and Arbitrum are supported. Still, there are plans to incorporate other L2 chains, such as Zksync and Optimism.

2. Navigate to “W3Buckets”
— Here, you can select a storage bucket that fits your needs, with options for 10GB, 100GB, and 1TB. Notably, data stored within these buckets is preserved permanently. With multiple backups on the Crust network, there’s no need to worry about data tampering or loss.

3. Proceed as prompted to generate a W3Bucket. Additionally, you can customize its appearance, choosing colors and QR code designs to suit your preferences.

4. For payment, either ETH or USDT can be selected. Once chosen, you’ll need to sign the transaction within your wallet. An example showcases that the gas fee on the Arbitrum chain amounts to $0.12, with an additional total on-chain transaction fee of $0.81.

5. Access and manage your files.
— Once payment is complete, you can view your minted W3Bucket in the “W3Buckets” section. From here, uploading files is straightforward, with visible information like the file’s CID, link, and size.

6. Reselling your NFT.
— If you decide to resell your NFT, simply log into OpenSea with your wallet. You can either check your profile for your NFTs or visit [OpenSea’s W3Bucket collection](https://opensea.io/collection/w3bucket) directly.

About Crust Cloud

Introducing Crust Cloud, the innovative business service layer from Crust Network! We’re elated to unveil this breakthrough, catering to decentralized storage and hosting needs in the Web3 sphere. Crust Cloud’s primary ambition is to reimagine cloud storage as the central middleware in the Web3 domain. Every storage bucket is uniquely conceptualized as a non-fungible token (NFT), as is every IPFS gateway.

With Crust Cloud, the paradigm for how data storage capacity is procured, accessed, managed, and owned in the Web3 arena is transformed. The ease of accessing decentralized storage resources, with complete ownership through blockchain wallets like MetaMask, is unparalleled.

Rooted in the Crust Network, Crust Cloud capitalizes on Crust’s expansive decentralized storage network, boasting over 1500 nodes and an impressive storage capacity exceeding 700PB. This infrastructure allows Crust Cloud to deliver a plethora of services and storage choices to both developers and consumers.
