Crust Devlog | December 13th — December 19th. 2021

Mainnet Weekly Report

On September 1st, Crust Mainnet was officially launched, and block rewards were issued. As of December 13th, the number of nodes on Crust Mainnet was 8,130, and the storage capacity has reached 2,123 PB. The weekly data is as follows.

Protocol Layer

  1. [Mainnet] Remove the Pending Files queue, simplify the arithmetic update logic, and increase the processing power of files
  2. [Mainnet] Remove the sorting logic of Replicas, simplify the extra performance consumption when inserting and deleting files
  3. [sWorker] Fix the bugs caused by frequent disk drops and frequent restores

Application Layer

  1. [Apps] Fix the copy on the upgrade page of sWorker
  2. [Apps] Fix the bug of claiming rewards

Others

  1. [Wiki] Complete Crust Storage 101 in the Build module
  2. [Workshop] Complete Polygon Academy’s Code Sample on Crust Storage
  3. [Website] Complete and release the new version of the website
