The Mainnet Data
Technical Progress
1. Crust Wallet Plugin Now Supports the Latest Chrome Browser
The Crust Wallet plugin has been updated to fully support the latest version of the Chrome browser. This upgrade improves compatibility with the latest browser engine, resolves user-reported compatibility issues, and enhances the plugin’s user experience by ensuring smoother interactions and increased security. Users can now manage accounts, sign transactions, and perform storage operations more efficiently on the latest Chrome version. Additionally, the update includes fixes for minor known issues, further improving the plugin’s stability.
Community Recommendation:
In addition to the Crust Wallet plugin, we encourage the community to explore Subwallet and Talisman, two excellent wallet tools:
- Subwallet: Supports Crust Mainnet and Crust Parachain, offering an intuitive interface and convenient multi-chain functionality, making it ideal for users operating across multiple ecosystems.
- Talisman: Also fully supports the Crust network and focuses on seamless integration within the Polkadot ecosystem, delivering a secure and efficient user experience.
2. EIP-5625 Final Proposal
The EIP-5625 has officially reached its Final stage, signaling that Crust’s support for its related features is on the way. EIP-5625 aims to optimize on-chain storage interaction performance while introducing new security measures. The Crust development team is closely following the implementation of this proposal and will soon roll out compatibility updates to ensure Crust network users can seamlessly access Ethereum’s enhanced and secure storage ecosystem.
3. Follow-up on Crust Bags Grant Review
The Crust Bags project has received approval under the Ton Grant and recently completed its first-phase feedback summary. Ton Grants managers have reviewed the optimization aspects of the project, with further advancements and market-side collaboration and promotion awaiting implementation.
Ecosystem Collaboration
1. Ethereum has accepted Crust Dev team’s ERC-5625 proposal! This EIP extends the NFT metadata JSON schema defined in EIP-721 and EIP-1155, adding a storage key that provides information about how the NFT data is stored. It adds a dStorage property to the NFT metadata JSON schema, ensuring decentralized storage for NFT assets, enhancing immutability, reliability, and durability.
