Crust Network’s brand-new business service layer, Crust Cloud, is officially launching! We are thrilled to announce this exciting development, providing a fresh toolkit for decentralized storage and hosting needs in the Web3 environment.

The key focus of Crust Cloud is to redefine cloud storage as middleware in the Web3 space. Each storage bucket is designed as a non-fungible token (NFT), and every IPFS gateway is also an NFT. With Crust Cloud, we revolutionize the way data storage capacity is purchased, accessed, managed, and owned in the Web3 environment. Through our innovative W3Buckets and W3Gateways, we merge the capabilities of decentralized storage resources with NFT infrastructure. W3Buckets is the first solution that allows users to mint, transfer, manage, access, and own storage resources directly through their wallets, just like they would interact with any other on-chain assets such as tokens or NFTs.

In the future, users will be able to pay directly to the Crust Cloud smart contract to mint custom W3Buckets. In return, they will receive NFT tokens, granting them full ownership, access, and control over their Web3 storage resources.
