Participate in Crust Events & Earn CSM!

Crust has recently launched some events for our community, including:

1. Airdrop on CoinMarketCap, 1,000 lucky addresses share a total of 9,000,000 CSM;

2. Support Crust Shadow’s Kusama parachain slot auction, rewards up to 90,000 CRU + 18,000,000 CSM

3. Try Crust storage, stake CSM, and share a total of 54,000 CRU!

After two years’ development, the Crust Preview Network-Maxwell was launched on February 4th of 2021. In just a few months, the total storage capacity of Maxwell has exceeded 600PB, and there are more than 3,000 Crust nodes around the world.

Crust ecological applications are developing rapidly, and more and more Web3.0 decentralized storage applications have appeared.

Now, popular projects that you frequently visit, like Uniswap, Sushiswap, Compound, and MakerDAO have begun to use Crust to deploy their own DApps; the NFT assets you purchased might also be stored on the Crust network; you can use Decoo (Decoo. io, a file transfer application based on Crust network) to easily upload and share your files; you can also browse your favorite videos on Socbay (Socbay.io, a video site based on Crust network).

To encourage more users to experience Crust’s decentralized storage capabilities, Crust will launch the “Profit Data” activity. Up to 54,000 CRU will be rewarded to users that use Crust to store files. Crust will provide free storage space to users that meet our requirements.

Preparatory Work

1. Register a Crust Maxwell Account on Crust Apps ( how to register?)
2. Prepare CRU for on-chain transaction fees and storage order fees. We recommend preparing at least 0.1 CRU; or you can apply for free storage space on the Maxwell Preview Network (with a Github account older than 6 months) (how to apply?)

How to Participate

Basically, there are only 3 steps to earn your reward:

Step 1: Use Crust to store files. The system will generate a ‘Data Power’, this is the proof of your storage order. Then you need to stake CSM on the data power to earn CRU rewards. The upper staking limit per TB is 10,000 CSM; (click to participate)

Step 2: Get the golden shovel — CSM. Participate in the airdrop on CoinMarketCap or support Crust Shadow’s Kusama Parachain Slot Auction to earn CSM, see below for details;

Step 3：Stake CSM. You can stake for yourself, or you can become a CSM guarantor of others to share their rewards.

Through these 3 steps, you will earn CRU rewards according to the percentage of your effective CSM stake to the total CSM staking pool. Total rewards equal 54,000CRU. The activity will be officially launched on June 20th 2021 and will last for 180 days. The reward plan is as follows:

What is CSM?

CSM is the native token of Crust Shadow. Crust Shadow is a “Kusama version” of the Crust network, an early and unreviewed available code which has real economic value. Crust Shadow is designed as a Kusama parachain, and will participate in Kusama’s Parachain Slot Auction. Crust Shadow is a testing application for XCMP, which can provide storage functions for other parachains. Storage orders from the relay chain will be passed to Crust Maxwell’s storage market.

How to earn CSM?

Join the CoinMarketCap CSM Airdrop
Crust will airdrop 9,000,000 CSM to the community for free through CoinMarketCap. There will be 1,000 addresses, each winning 9,000 CSM. They will adopt a random whitelist mechanism; (click to participate now)

In addition, CSM can be traded on UniswapV2. (CSM Contract Address: 0x2620638EDA99F9e7E902Ea24a285456EE9438861). The CSM trading on Uniswap are ERC-20 tokens, and will need to be claimed to Crust Maxwell in order to participate in the ‘Profit Data’ event.（how to claim?）
