Review of Crust Workshop-2 in Polkadot Hackathon

On June 10, Crust held the first workshop of the Polkadot Hackathon series, with the topic “Intro to Crust’s cross-chain storage”.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to use Crust’s cross- chain storage.

The following are highlights of the contents in this workshop:

Decentralized storage (dStorage) is a fundamental infrastructure of Web3 ecosystem. As a supplement to costly on-chain storage, dStorage can scale horizontally as a distributed network and theoretically store unlimited data.

Crust Network provides 2 integrated solutions:

  • xStorage pallet: an XCMP-based Substrate pallet for all Polkadot parachains
  • Native IPFS integrations for all smart contract platforms
