SwitchSwap is a fully decentralized platform for Web3 users to mint, manage and trade/swap NFTs from multi blockchains. SwitchSwap is designed to build a complete portfolio of decentralized applications specifically for NFTs by covering the full lifecycle of NFT scenarios with some beautiful Web3-styled solutions.

By now, a prototype product of SwtichSwap is gradually taking shape. Take a look and try to mint your own NFTs here https://switchswap.io/#/home. At current stage one blockchain (Polygon, with MetaMask plug-in wallet) and three NFT type configs (With Author Registration, Simplified, Without NFT Card) are supported, but remember there will finally be multi-chain and multi-wallet compatibility for this platform.

Powered by Crust

As the fundamental of Web3 initiative, decentralized storage plays a critical role in almost all of the Web3 scenarios you can name, including DAPPs hosting, general off-chain data storage & hosting, NFTs metadata storage, and GameFi/SocialFi/Metaverse data storage. NFTs related scenarios are no exception. This is why SwitchSwap choose to integrate Crust Network as their native, built-in solution to store NFTs metadata in the minting process.

Before a NFT token is minted, make metadata ‘Crusted’ first.

Another meaning by noting ‘Powered by Crust’ is that SwitchSwap is also put onto the grant project list by DCF (Decentralized Cloud Foundation). This exciting project is given high hopes since its start from earlier this year by a European-based dev team. The team believe that, by launching the SwitchSwap platform, the thorny problem facing the whole NFT ecosystem that how we can easily, safely store NFTs metadata in a decentralized and permanent means will be solved to a large extent.

Exciting features about SwitchSwap

SwitchSwap is not merely a decentralized NFTs minting platform. There are several more exciting components that distinguish SwitchSwap from other ones.

l Create NFTs for your own file

SwitchSwap is experimenting on a new mechanism of defining and creating an NFT token by its user. Unlike other contracts you can find on existing NFT minting platforms, the contract created in SwtichSwap is open for everyone to mint an NFT which could be considered as an identity paper for a file. The basic idea is to let users to create NFTs for their own files, which could be in the form of text, image, video… and whatever else.

l Gallery and Swap NFTs with MATIC Token

Users can place the sell order of their NFTs in the gallery and others can buy via the swap contract. At the beginning, the swap contract is limited for NFTs natively created on SwitchSwap, but the team is exploring the possibility to work with all ERC721 tokens.

l NFTs Manager

NFT Manager allows users to view all NFTs they own, as well as the files, if viewable, linked to the NFTs. Users can read the current storage status of their files and renew the corresponding storage orders on Crust Network.

About Crust Grants Program

Crust Grants Program, launched by the Decentralized Cloud Foundation (DCF), rewards projects that add value to the Web 3.0 decentralized cloud storage ecosystem. Grants divides decentralized cloud storage into technology stacks at six layers, including chain protocol layer, file systems protocol layer, node strategies layer, development tools and infrastructure layer, blockchain-based applications layer and user-based applications layer, incentivizing projects in the decentralized cloud storage ecosystem at full strength.
