Call for submissions — investing in your creative career

So many of us are balancing a day job with working on our creative dreams. We’re earning a living while simultaneously investing in how we hope we’ll one day make a living.

For this call for submissions, tell us how you’re balancing that journey. Are you exhausted by the demands of trying to build your creative career while working in another field? Are you leveraging your day job and using it as a means to invest in your creative career?

We want to know how you are pursuing your dreams while managing the other responsibilities of your life and career.

Same rules as always:

• If you’re already a writer for CRY, go ahead and submit.
• If you’re not a writer for CRY but would like to submit to this request, let us know and we’ll add you ASAP.
• Be as creative as you want in your submissions. As long as you stick to the topic, we’ll consider it.
• Just because you submit doesn’t mean we’ll post. If you haven’t heard back from us in three days, consider that a pass.
• Deadline to submit is Friday, October 9.
