When our babies are big in our bellies, they remind us with every tiny movement, that we cannot stay still. Sometimes we are tired as we rub our distended stomachs, and we whisper, “Be still, sweet child. Be still.”

But then they come to us with noise and flailing, in protest of the big new world…
