New Feature Announcement: 2-Factor Authentication

After our recent update including integrated wallets offering free and instant transactions, Crypico set its focus on improving the security of the system for those keeping their funds on the platform.

After a long testing period we are happy to announce the release of 2-factor authentication for all Crypico accounts. In an industry often marred by scams, we believe it vital to afford our users additional piece of mind in knowing their funds are safe on Crypico.

Enabling 2FA:

After logging in navigate to the Account Security page via the dashboard.

Step 1:

2FA requires the use of the Google Authenticator app. The app is available for both Apple and Android devices.

Step 2:

Using the Google Authenticator app, scan the QR code or enter the secret key.

Step 3:

The Google Authenticator app will now generate a code that changes every few seconds. Enter the generated code and your Crypico account password in the fields and click “Activate 2FA”.

You’re done!

Logging into your account will now require that the use of your smartphone device. Your account is now protected by one of the most trusted security systems in the world.
