Note: Please do your own research, I feel this is a possible scam but do not take my word for guarantee. And be safe. Please read further to know why.
From a whats App group I found that https://status-token.com/ which is a complete copy of the orginal status.im site.
The original status.im site now for your review:
Now the reason why people are interested about https://status-token.com/, its because it claims to give you free SNT tokens as airdrop if you share your private keys. Please refer the below screenshot. And it was circulated possibly in slack channels.
So when such sites prop up and ask you your private key and also say you to claim it, its highly possible you will endup being scammed and loosing all your funds. There have been many myetherwallet scams like this have happened and keep on happening. Please avoid such sites.
For you to double check the correct site of status.im. Please go to their github page and checkit. Or check the correct url from coinmarketcap page. Avoid any other social engineered site.
