Before diving into the strategies for sniping, it’s crucial to understand what memecoins are. Memecoins are cryptocurrencies inspired by memes or viral phenomena on the internet. Unlike traditional cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum, which have foundational utility or technological innovations, memecoins often derive their value mostly from community support and social media buzz.
To effectively snipe memecoins, you need to be on top of market news and trends. Social media platforms like X (twitter), Reddit, and crypto-focused forums are essential for getting real-time updates about upcoming launches and potential viral coins.

Having said that, you will need an ultra fast trading bot to execute your trades. Unfortunately, if you don’t have one, chances are you will be beat by users who use a bot.
Before we go into the do’s and don'ts in sniping a memecoin, let’s first discuss the most crucial part of being able to “snipe” a memecoin. A trustworthy sniping bot. One of the bots I personally use is Trojan.

3. Top Up Your Balance: You can send funds ($SOL) to that Solana address through your favorite crypto exchange (i.e Coinbase) or through your existing Solana wallet like Phantom.
How To Buy Crypto Using Trojan Bot

Step 2: Enter the Coin Ticker or Contract Address

Before finalizing your purchase, take a moment to review the swap summary and assess the price impact. This step ensures that you have a clear understanding of the transaction details before proceeding.
Step 5: Confirm Purchase
Once you’ve reviewed the swap summary and are satisfied with the price impact, you can proceed to buy the token by clicking on the “Buy” button.
What settings are important?
Buy Buttons configuration: You can configure it how you want. Simply enter how many SOL you wanna spend on a meme coin when you press the button.
Sell Buttons: How many % of the coins you wanna sell if you press the button.
Slippage: The prices of the meme coins are changing every single second. Usually, I have the slippage around 2–5%. Some people also make it higher.
Max Price Impact: BonkBot shows you a warning if the price change is too big within a second. This is for your protection.
MEV Protect: Turbo! This is important.
Transaction priority: High (or very high!) to make sure the transaction goes through as fast as possible. Remember, the price is changing every second.

They attract investment, inflate the market cap, and then crash the value by 100%, potentially wiping out all your Solana. Stay sharp and trade smart!
