The Crypterium App Is Updated — Users Are Loving It!
As you probably already know, the Crypterium App was successfully updated last week. To do so, we had to go under maintenance for a few hours. The question is… Was it worth it? Our community says “Yes” and here is why.
This new version brings along significant improvements to your overall experience, such as faster transactions, stronger wallet security, a fresh interface design and a smoother identity verification process. It didn’t take long for users to experience the changes…
The increased speed of transactions is the result of our new backend solution built together with BitGo, a leading blockchain security company backed by Goldman Sachs.
This solution will also ensure that your future card transactions are truly seamless. By the way, you’re still on time to pre-order your Crypterium card! More details on our subscription plans here.
And that’s not all. The new backend enhances the security of your wallet, making it really untraceable via blockchain.
Have noted something different about your wallet addresses? That’s right. By migrating to a new backend, your wallet addresses were replaced with new ones. Don’t forget to double check them before topping up your account.
More Changes To Come
This App update is about much more than just a new backend. Our talented designers and developers are working on major UX/UI improvements to make the App even easier to use. Following the latest update, you can find a freshly redesigned history section. Stay tuned! We’re planning on releasing more changes in the nearest time.
Last but not least, our new KYC process is now in place. We’ve partnered up with Jumio to deliver a more convenient solution for you to submit the required documentation and, for us to minimize the risks of fraudulent activities. It’s a win-win!

To ensure you’re using our latest version, please follow these 3 simple steps:
- Head to the App Store or Google Store and press “Update”
- Once the App has been fully updated, open it!
- Now “Log out” and re-enter your credentials.

One last thing. We’re moving services progressively to the new backend. For such reason, some features — bank transfers, mobile top-ups and CRPT purchases — will take a bit longer to become operational again.
