Heroes are made in battle, where they prove their toughness and worth. And in battle, they can perish… Or at least get really tired of all the sword-logging, bow-stringing, and spell-casting.
The fatigue mechanics take into account how much your hero has been wounded in battle. Every time a hero falls in battle, they will gain one point of fatigue, represented by a skull. When the heroes fatigue threshold reaches it's maximum, which is three skulls, the hero will become unavailable, succumbing to their wounds for a while.
Recovering from fatigue takes 20 minutes per skull gained, but only one hero can be recovering at a time.
Fortunately, heroes can be nursed back to health — all it takes is some garlic. Win battles and unlock new heroes to obtain more of this ancient health-boosting vegetable that will release your heroes from their fatigued state so you can send them back into the fray!
