This is what many people thought when they learned that we moved to Togliatti as a family. And everything was much closer.
This beautiful city is located in the Samara region, Stavropol region, on the left Bank of the Volga river, opposite the fascinating beauty and history of the Zhiguli mountains. To preserve this amazing nature, a national Park and Zhiguli reserve were created, registered by the UNESCO Foundation.
In the Samara region there are lots of attractions, not only architectural. Only one Lock Garibaldi is worth something! To look at this work of architecture people come from all cities of our vast Russia.
Togliatti gives you the opportunity to relax and recharge from the Volga, pine forests and mountains. If you like real winter — welcome. Winter here fascinates with its beauty and the amount of snow.
Why Togliatti? Until 1964, the city was called Stavropol, and then was renamed in honor of Palmiro Togliatti.
One of the iconic features of the city, of course, is the automotive concern “AVTOVAZ”. In 1970, the shop produced the first parts of new cars, and a year later the plant assembled one hundred thousand cars
The AVTOVAZ plant works in Togliatti to this day, producing domestic cars, which are in great demand among the population of the whole country.
Modern Togliatti is the largest new city in Russia. The largest among the cities that are not the capital of the Russian Federation. The modern look of Togliatti is significantly different from the previous one. Now the city is one of the largest modern industrial centers of Volga region.
