Providing Utility for the Unbanked — Cashaa

With the Ethereum smart contract platform, it’s increasingly easier to conduct an ICO — this explains the large number of ERC-20 tokens currently in the market.

With so many ERC-20 tokens around, some might ask if they all really differ from each other. Well, the truth is there are bound to be overlaps in ideas and use cases. At the end of the day, like a traditional business, it all comes down to execution and of course, the ability to execute a good idea successfully relies largely on the competency on the management team.

That is why I have to commend the Cashaa (CAS) management team for having the foresight to rally their community to win the recent nomination poll held by MegaXstore.

The nomination poll is run by MegaXstore as a way to decide which coins/tokens gets accepted next as a mode of payment. I think it’s a great idea letting the community decide which cryptocurrencies they want listed next and very in sync with the blockchain philosophy of decentralization and consensus.

By winning the poll, CAS token has created more utility moving forward. Furthermore, by being one of the few tokens listed as a form of payment on the Singaporean e-commerce site, CAS has positioned themselves as a leading token in an establish e-commerce field, differentiating their token from all the others!
