On September 28, GMO Global Signature Co. Ltd., which develops electronic authentication services, launched the world’s fastest (* 1) cryptocurrency mining software “Cryptknocker” (URL: https: //www.cryptknocker.com).
“Cryptknocker” takes advantage of the technical know-how of the certification authority business such as PKI (public key encryption infrastructure)encryption technology, and speeds up data processing when encrypting using technology that GMO Global Sign has cultivated. It is a mining software made for the cryptocurrency Zcash using the Equihash algorithm (* 2). Starting with the provision of this software, GMO Global Sign will enter the cryptocurrency business.

What “Cryptknocker” Provides and the Background of its Entry into the Cryptocurrency Business
The GMO Internet Group is developing its cryptocurrency business as one of its main businesses. It started its cryptocurrency trading / FX business in May 2017, its cryptocurrency mining business in December of the same year, and was the first to sell a mining machine that comes equipped with the most advanced 7nm process mining ASIC (* 3) (Estimated to ship at the end of October.) Miners prepare wallets in advance, download the software from the “Cryptknocker” site to their PC, start it up, select a pool, and execute the command. When mining is successful, 98% of the calculated amount is added to the customer’s wallet, the remaining 2% is the usage fee (developer fee) which automatically enters the wallet of “Cryptknocker.”
