Japan Cryptocurrency Exchange Association (JVCEA) applies to the Financial Services Agency for Accreditation from the Certified Association for Payment Service Providers .
On August 2, 2018, the Japan Cryptocurrency Exchange Association (JVCEA) announced that it had filed a certification application to the Financial Services Agency (FSA) for Certified Association for Payment Service Providers accreditation.
The company posted the following, announcing that it will continue to protect the profits of the users while making cryptocurrencies sound.
“In the future, as we undergo screening for accreditation by the Financial Services Agency, we will continue to establish a system for the effective creation and enforcement of voluntary regulation rules, and develop a framework for members for the purposes of showing the progress of enforcing the voluntary regulations as well as the status of enforcement to allow users to understand the operation status, so we can ensure the users have a safe environment to use the cryptocurrency exchange services that our members provide.”
The association announced that it has decided to enforce new voluntary regulation rules including mandating that traders place upper limits on the value of the transactions its customers execute, as well by adopting leverage limits.
