Draco — Phase II of the Crypto.org Chain Is Now Live

We are happy to announce that Draco — Phase II of the Crypto.org Chain is now live. It will support native token issuance on the Crypto.org Chain which enables native token issuance via IBC solo machines. Coin issuance is an essential building block for the Crypto.org Chain DeFi ecosystem. The tokens can be issued easily with solutions such as Solo Machine, and they are natively recognised and can be transferred around for purposes such as payments and NFT trading.

The governance proposal to enable the DRACO II upgrade on the Crypto.org Chain upgrade has passed, with 99.9% voting for ‘Yes’ and more than 85% of the 3.4B staked CRO token have voted.
