Expansion Wars Progress

The War is in full swing and with it come the rewards for completing missions for either the GFI or the FSC. All missions from the Missions Tab that are completed for either side will rank commanders on an overall mission leaderboard.

As commanders successfully complete either GFI or FSC missions, these will be added to the total missions completed and the challenge rating value of the missions will be the amount of points commanders will earn. Progress will be tracked against all other commanders completing missions for the same faction.

Commanders must choose which faction to support, as their total number of completed missions will be offset when completing a mission for the opposite faction.

Commanders earn points by completing a mission for a specific faction and the challenge rating of that mission will be the total number of points earned for that faction.

The more missions commanders complete for a specific faction in the Missions Tab, the more points commanders will earn for that faction. Missions commanders complete for the opposing faction will subtract from the point total of the current faction.

There are 2 faction leaderboards — GFI and FSC

At the conclusion of the war, the top commanders on each side will earn the respective rewards from the rewards pool.

The leaderboard rewards will be awarded to all players who place in specific tiers which are stated below. Players that place in the top reward tiers will earn all of the rewards in the tiers below them as well. For example: If a player gets a Top 25% placement. The player will earn the Top 25% reward, and also earn the rewards for the Top 50%,75%, and 100%. The higher your placement the more rewards you will receive. Regardless of the winner, commanders who rank up for either side will earn rewards. But the ultimate fate of the system will be under either GFI or FSC control.

FAQ

How do commanders earn points?

The challenge rating for the missions will determine the amount of points commanders will earn. For example if 1 mission is completed at a challenge rating of 20 for the GFI, 20 points total will be earned for the GFI.

Can you lose points?

Yes. If commanders attempt to do missions for the opposing faction they originally started doing missions for, it will subtract from their total points.

Example: A commander has 20 points earned for the GFI, they attempt and complete a Challenge Rating 15 FSC mission, they will then end up with 5 points for the GFI.

How do I swap to the other faction?

If a commander has accrued a lot of points for one faction, they will have to do that many missions for the opposing faction to swing their point total to the opposing faction.

Example: 10 Points in GFI, a commander completes a Challenge Rating 15 FSC random mission, they will then end up with 5 points for the FSC.

What about the Assignment Missions? Do those earn commanders’ points? I want to learn the story about both sides of the war and don’t want to lose points for the faction I am supporting.

Expansion War Assignment Lore Missions do not count toward this progress. Commanders are free to do both sides of the story, without losing points for their chosen faction. Only missions from the Missions Tab will be eligible for points.

When are these missions being tracked for the leaderboard?

Missions have been tracked from the start of the event. All of the missions that you have been completing up to this point will be added to your total points. A leaderboard is available here. If you have participated in the War you will find your Username and last 5 numbers of your Player ID on this list and your points. Locate your Player ID in your Profile. The leaderboard is updated every minute.
