Series 3 — New Items and Cybership
As 2019 winds down we here at Lucid Sight wanted to thank you all, our CSC Community, for the time and support you have put into the CSC Universe. We have been happy with the growth of the game and we look forward to kicking it into high gear in 2020. We have TONs of updates in the pipe and look forward to hitting CSC 1.0 by the Summer of 2020.
In addition, we are thrilled to announce that after 1.0 PC release of CSC, development of CSC Mobile will commence! For those who were with us from the start, the Mobile development of CSC has been always on our road map. So much so that all of our design and engineering has been done with mobile support in mind. We feel that not only can CSC dominate the PC space game genre but as a mobile title we can capture the attention of new Commanders who are looking to mine on a lunch break, battle pirates on the sofa before dinner, or do some item trading in on the fully integrated, ETH backed, marketplace while on the go. In short, CSC will be going Mobile in the Winter of 2020!
Series 3 Update
New Starship — Cybership
As you recall the CEO of ION Industries, Yan Tanner, revealed his company’s latest creation last week, the Cybership. A small intrepid class cargo hauler that uses advanced electrical ion drives to quickly move cargo across the CSC Universe. This being the first of ION Industries starships the company has decided to release for a LIMITED TIME. During this time period, GFI will make the ship available via supply crates and ION Industries will be providing Cyberships as a premium reward for select ION Industries missions in the near future. (ION Missions will begin on Jan 6th, 2020). Post the Limited Time Window and ION Missions this ship can be crafted but will require a special resource. This will be a very limited resource that can only be earned from TIME to TIME by performing a task or scavenging for ION Industries.
New Modules — EMPs, Target Scramblers, Stealth Scramblers, Engine Disruptors, New Mines
To coincide with ION’s starship release, GFI will be introducing the above new modules into all Series 3 Supply Crates. These new modules will be available only for a LIMITED TIME! These new modules include various tech versions.

Today we are releasing the first set of new modules in our S3 series! The Cybership and new modules will be available via Series 3 Crates from Dec 20th, 2019 — Jan 3rd, 2020 3:00 PM PST. ION Industries' mission with potential for Cybership rewards will begin sometime during the week of Jan 6th.
Development Update
A new feature/ bug patch was released last night! This patch included a game-changing power overload penalty. Now ships that use more power than they have will get disabled for a period of time before resetting. The length of time your ship powers down is dependent on your ship type and size. These numbers will be adjusted over the next few updates as we get a better handle on how to best balance the power down penalty.
0.7 Marketplace Update! Since this feature is a complex deployment we want to have our full staff available before having to go live completely. Since we are coming up to the holidays, where staff in the office will be limited, we will be delaying the full 0.7 launch till the beginning of January. However, we are currently we are considering a limited launch of the marketplace in the CSC client next week, more details/updates on this can be expected Monday.
New missions have been seeded! New combat missions and a seasonal delivery mission has been introduced into the generation queue. Help a kind old man deliver some “Quantum Storage Chests” to the children of the universe and be handsomely rewarded.
