Bytecoin (BCN) was launched on July 4, 2012 and was written in the C++ programming language. The source is open so anyone can view and, depending on abilities, edit the code. It is based on CryptoNote.

On May 21, 2020 08:15 AM EST, Coinmarketcap.com reported that the current price of BCN as $0.000235 with a circulating supply of 184,066,828,814 BCN making a market cap of over $42 million.

The all time high price of BCN is $0.030134 which occurred on May 08, 2018 during the great crypto bubble. BCN is traded on several exchanges including CoinEX and Gate.io. Links to the trading pairs can be found in the footer.

You can get the Bytecoin wallet software from the official bytecoin.org website: https://bytecoin.org/downloads. They have a web wallet, a mobile wallet, a desktop wallet and a more advanced RPC server allowing businesses to accept payments without using any 3rd party.
