Crypto King: Hello community, welcome to another round of an #AMA session with a huge project that has a great potential. Today, we have @JayHaiNguyen from #EpicWar to talk more about their work/team and the goals they have for the project.

J Hi Ng: I am Jay Hi - father of Epic War - Nice to e-meet you all today 🦾.

Crypto King: Awesome! Well, since you know the structure of AMA. Let us begin with your brief introduction. How about talking aboht your journey and background/experience in Crypto field😊.

J Hi Ng: Surely. Thanks @CryptoDare for hosting me today.

J Hi Ng: I always call myself as the "first" creator 👾 of Epic War, a DeFi game 🎮 that will be the first of its kind when we want to create an open game platform rather than centralized game-making concept.

My background is from Deloitte & EY - Big4 and Computer Science - AI Scientist.

Crypto King: Wow that is terrific.

J Hi Ng: I am an early adopter of blockchain and cryptocurrency. I first heard about Bitcoin in 2014 and I had a good time searching and did a lot of study on it. Also, I am one of the first angle investors invested in Axies since 2017.

Crypto King: Oh you mean an early investor in #AXS, that too 2017. Pretty cool.

J Hi Ng: At that time, it is still very early for play-to-earn game concept. No one believes its success.

Crypto King: That's true, nobody knew about it. But yeah you being one of those first investors in #AXS. Great achievement🚀.

J Hi Ng: Sometimes high risk is high return :D

Q1. Can you briefly describe #EpicWar? What is it trying to do in the blockchain/gaming space?

J Hi Ng: Yes, firstly, this is our game teaser based on comic inspiration:

Epic War is not normal Blockchain Game but we are 3D Blockchain Cinematic Game and Collectibles: Action Game + Comic Book + Film + NFT.

It is a game about the journey of a lone hero who, along with his team, fights to save the planet from the monsters and evil forces in an apocalypse war. Unlike most other games, we don't want to tell you how the story ends. We want you to be the main character in an epic story, and write your own fate.

We want to create Epic War as a new generation of gaming ecosystem. For most blockchain games on the market, players only participate in the game and make their earning. With Epic War, players could not only play for fun but also become new creators and make money by fighting against the monsters or other teams.

Q2. Please let us know about your team. How big is it and where is the company headquartered?

J Hi Ng: Yes, we are a team of Blockchain developers, web and mobile game developers, community managers and marketers in Ho Chi Minh city, Hanoi - Vietnam and Tokyo, Japan.

The team behind “Epic War” has years of experience developing blockchain-based games and building strong communities. This is why we want to create an open-source system where all players can enjoy this game with friends, family and complete strangers.

Key milestones will be:
May 2022: IGO, & Beta Testnet PvE for MultiPlayer.
June 2022: Beta PvP Testnet & Marketplace & Staking.
July-Aug 2022: Mainnet and DAO.
Dec 2022: Beta VR Gameplay.

Q4. When is the IDO and what all #Launchpads you have tied up with?

J Hi Ng: Yes. Our IGO is confirmed in May 12 on GameFi, RedKite and Bullperks launchpads.

Q1.@Namon65346748 One of the differences between Epic War and other gaming platforms that also involve blockchain technology is that Epic War provides the opportunity to play for free. What are the limitations of playing for free? What advantages and benefits do users receive?

J Hi Ng: Great question.

You can choose from two groups:
+ Anyone who plays the game for free but can still earn some token based on some regulation of gameplay.
+ Or those who pay for membership and get a higher chance to earn more tokens and valuable NFTs.

The free players will have a limited number of game modes available to them (PvE) while paid members have unlimited access to all game modes as well as other perks (PvE, PvP and PvPvE).

Q2.@Lucas09776 NFT are growing rapidly, there are many games that followed the type turn-based genre, which is already succeeded in the past year. Why did you choose First Person Shooter (FPS) type? What are the utilities of NFT in game? Can I have passive income if I am a NFT owner?

J Hi Ng: Oh it is very good question because we have many NFT Games. But many people will ask which one is the best ?

For us, Epic War is an immersive open-world game powered by VR technology and using first-persion view based on our FPS type.

It's the metaverse, but it's not just a virtual environment, people can do real stuff like playing, trading and sharing their stories inside of Epic War.

Imagine yourself in a dystopian world where death is just another challenge. You will be able to experience the true feeling of death while evolving to war eternity in Epic War.

And it is virtual world where NFT is the most intriguing property on the Metaverse phase.

You can own your NFT as a collectibles or use it as the governance NFT in our NFT-DAO. To keep all war processes on the blockchain, players can buy, sell, trade and rent for-profit NFTs of their choice. The more you play, the more NFTs you win!

Q3.@Rubel_aurin4545 Why did you choose BSC for your project? Is there any plan to add more blockchains in the future? Plesse explain??

J Hi Ng: Thanks Rubel. The chain we want to develop is also a process we take some time to do research and decide which is our first chain to start off.

As you know, Epic War is a fast-paced online multiplayer shooting game that allows you to progress by completing tasks in PvE mode or battling other players in PvP or PvPvE mode.

We want to approach many Players as much as possible because FPS type is not easy game like other blockchain games. So we choose Binance Smart Chain (BSC) as its primary chain. Now it is re-named as BNB Chain.

The other integrated chains we are developing are Solana and Polygon. And you can switch between these chains when you play our game around Oct-Nov 2022. We already discussed with team of Polygon to have the technical integration for the multi-chain in our project.

Q4.@Alon14091 I Noticed that, Epic War beta Testnet registration open, so i want to Play Epic war beta version, can you elaborate advantages or benefits of playing Epic war beta version? Is there any special rewards for beta players?

J Hi Ng: Thanks Alon. Epic War is a NFT gaming platform that greatly encourages gamers of all levels to become the Game Testers and play our Beta version.

Besides playing games and having fun, Testers can also complete the task issued by our and get rewards with a lot of benefits like NFT boxes & tokens.

Q1.Can I earn a passive income from your project? Are there any staking options available for this? What are the benefits of holding tokens in the long run??

J Hi Ng: Yes, you can do staking for $EWAR in GameFi.org or even in our website. We want to make it transparent for our investors and our APY is very good for HOLDER in the long-run.

Q2.Smart contracts are prone to failure, and many projects fall victim to it, costing user funds and discrediting projects. How reliable and secure are your smart contracts? Did you test it with either party?

J Hi Ng: Epic War is already audited by Securichain (our audit report is posted soon) and we will have Hackathon week in Q3 2022.

Q3.Most people judge a project by its token price. So, what is your plan to maintain the token price? Will there be some kinds of burning/buy-back program?

J Hi Ng: The Epic War is our initiative to bring real benefits and rewards to project’s supporters. Our vision is to enhance investors’ interest and make them benefit in a long-term vision so they can achieve more stable profit instead of join gambling exchange.
