Facebook is now Meta Platforms Inc

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s announced on Thursday 10/28/2021 that Facebook will be renamed to Meta Platforms Inc., or Meta for short, to describe its vision for connecting in a virtual world. Facebook will change its stock ticker from FB to MVRS, effective December 1.

“Today we are seen as a social media company, but in our DNA we are a company that builds technology to connect people, and the Metaverse is the next frontier just like social networking was when we got started,” Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said.

So how hot is Metaverse today?

The answer is VERY HOT. It reached the score of 100 as of this writing, an all time high.
