CryptoBarons — Barons Awakening How to Play
INTRODUCTION
CryptoBarons — Barons Awakening is the pre game intro of our main game which is coming soon. CryptoBarons has been designed to be a cross-platform strategy game on the blockchain which will be available on Android, iOS, PC and Web.
The aim of this pregame intro is to Buy Assets from the marketplace and use it to Gather food, wood, mine gold and get other resources which would be used to play the game effectively and win battles against other players. By buying assets and playing the game, you would receive Experience Points. The weekly leaders will be rewarded with assets and other items from the game.
ACCOUNTS/PROFILE
To get started playing this game, you are required to create an account. But do not to worry, it is very easy. You don’t need to go through all the hassles of registration. You can register with Google/Facebook login which makes it very easy.
When you register successfully, you will be given 100 BRN. With this you can buy a few assets with this and test the game. You’ll also get a referral link which you can share with your friends and get Baron Coins each time they make a purchase.
When you register, the game automatically creates an Ethereum account for you. You don’t need any plugins.

With your private keys, you can move your Ethers and Game Assets by recovering your wallet with your private keys to another wallet.
In your profile page, you can see your Profile details, as well as:
- Chest: View your purchased assets
- Coins: Buy Barons with ETH or MasterCard
- Hourglass: View your Transaction History
BUYING BARON COINS (BRN): Buying BRN enables you to buy game assets at very cheap prices. BRN is and ERC-20 in-game utility token that gamers can use to buy and trade game assets. Currently, you can buy BRN with Ethers or Credit/Debit Cards.
PURCHASING BRN WITH ETHERS: To buy BRN with Ethers, you need to have Ethers in your account first. If you are new to Cryptocurrency you can click here to find out how to purchase Ethers or skip this entirely and purchase with Credit/Debit Cards.
To transfer Ethers to your account, you need to Copy your Ethereum Address from your profile and paste it in the wallet where you want to transfer from and send the Ethers. NB: There is no limit to the amount of money you can transfer. As was stated earlier you are in full control of your funds, and you can transfer it to another wallet if you please, but to play this game with Ethers, you can only use the In-game wallet.
PURCHASING BRN WITH CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS: To purchase with Credit/Debit Cards it is quite straight forward. Click on “Pay” in the “Pay with Card” section, enter the amount in USD and click on Proceed. A secure payment gateway from “Switch Wallet” appears and then you enter your card details. Please don’t close this page while it is loading so that your transaction can go through successfully.
MARKETPLACE
The marketplace is where you can buy game resources such as soldiers, workers, Economy, Defence, Army etc. The prices are stated in BRN. Each asset purchased by a user is a unique ERC-721. Two (2) Farms purchased by an individual, even though it looks alike, they have unique identifiers on the blockchain and can be transferred from one player to another.
For this Pregame Intro, I would advise you to buy the following assets first: Farm, Sawmill, Barn, and then Market, Goldmine and Lumber Camp. These are the assets you’ll need for this game. https://mini.cryptobarons.io
Buying items is pretty easy. You can click on “View” to see a description of the asset and you can click on “Buy” to purchase.
When you click on Buy:
- The popup shows and asks you to enter quantity.
- Select your means of payment: Ethers, Baron coins or Card Payment.
- Ethers: You need to have Ethers in your game wallet. The system will confirm that you have these funds in your wallet before processing transaction.
- Baron Coins: Purchasing with BRN gives you a whooping 40% discount on any asset. You need to have Some Ethers in your ETH wallet to pay for gas. The system will also confirm that you have these funds in your wallet before processing transaction.
- Card Payment: You don’t need Ethers for this. You are billed from your Card.

PLAYING THE GAME
To play the game, go to https://mini.cryptobarons.io to play the pregame (mini-game). It will launch the intro story and take you to the login page. To log in is quite simple, just use the username and password you have already created before to login. If you registered previously using Google or Facebook logins, you can also use it here.
So once you have logged in successfully, you will see the game assets you have purchased from the marketplace. Now you can upgrade your assets which will be transferred automatically to the main-game when it is launched. Assets like Farm can be used to gather and store food (like meat — which is used to feed soldiers and workers), Sawmill can be used to gather and to store wood (which is used to train soldiers and build walls), then Goldmines can be used to gather and to store gold (which can be exchanged to Baron token when the main game launches).
Game Items
Resources: These are the basic resources used in the game. Food, Wood and Gold.
Production Buildings: You need these buildings before you can produce any resource. You need Farm for Food, Sawmill for Wood and Gold mine for Gold.
Storage Buildings: You need storage buildings to increase the amount of resources that you can store. They Include Barn, Lumber Camp and Market. Barn increases your food storage, Lumber Camp increase the amount of wood storage, while markets increase gold storage.
The Buildings can also be upgraded. As you play the game and gather more resources, you can use it to upgrade your assets and skill level, as well as increase your experience points.
So, why should you play the mini game? Short answer, because is fun and gathering of assets is much easier now, than when the main game launches. This means you have the opportunity to get all it takes to build a formidable kingdom also these assets can be sold in the marketplace to other game players for real money.
