NEW RISE OF MEME TOKENS ON SOLANA?
Meme coins are cryptocurrencies inspired by memes and internet jokes, in a nutshell. Dogecoin, for example, was created as a result of the Doge meme, which was inspired by a viral photo of a Shiba Inu. These cryptocurrencies aren’t meant to be taken seriously, but they can still gain traction when community members buy into the latest one to join in on the joke. When a coin becomes popular and its value rises, retail investors may jump on board, boosting the coin’s value even more. The popularity of certain meme coins is also boosted by prominent online figures and celebrities. Elon Musk is probably the most well-known example, and there’s even a Dogecoin fork called Floki Inu named after Musk’s actual pet dog.
Today, there is a new rise of meme tokens on Solana. They did very well in trading volume the past few days. Take a look at a list of them below.
1. MOONLANA
Moonlana is a Solana meme token with NFTs, Tipbots, a DEX(Lanadex) and more. Moonlana focuses on being useful rather than just a meme token. We have our own Dex [Serum api] where all of the fees are used to buy back and burn our token. It’s a token that has existed before, yes, it is Showshoe, the previous dev left them and left an important wallet. They also have the mint authority so the previous dev can’t access the wallet. They with the new team decided to rebrand this token, we named it Ashera.
