Scott Eastwood, a well-known Hollywood actor, has teamed up with blockchain startup Pastel Network to launch 25 of his own NFTs, adding to the list of celebrities who have released digital assets. Between October and December 2022, these resources will be made available in three monthly drops.

Users have the opportunity to be chosen by the Pastel Network and have a donation made to their preferred charity if they successfully complete the challenge and upload the video to social media.

“It returns control to the artist. To have control and have it customized by the public and the market, as he puts it, is the pinnacle for an artist”.

The first of these releases will be stylized portraits of the actor portrayed by Paul Gerben as various well-known characters. Those who own these assets will get a lot of practical benefits, like passes to his movie premieres. A donation will be made in the holders’ name to a charity, and access to memorabilia from one of his films will be part of the second drop, which will include stills from it.

Eastwood said he was initially hesitant to work with NFTs due to the scams he had observed in the industry, but that he had since had a change of heart. He now views NFTs as a means of empowering artists as well.

The final drop, however, won’t be put up for auction but instead will be given away as part of the “Eastwood Challenge,” an online game. Participants must record themselves downing a beer all at once before speaking without burping about their favorite charity.
