It’s official. The moment is almost here.

Solana Confirmed for OpenSea

The leading non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace for Ethereum — and the whole crypto industry — has announced that it will integrate with the Solana network. The big moment seemed to be approaching.

Following a quiet live test of the Phantom wallet around March 26, OpenSea put out a tweet on March 29 indicating that the integration is just around the corner. The accompanying video displays countless tweets questioning ‘wen Solana? ‘, followed by the words ‘April 2022’ on the screen.

The connection was verified further on March 29 when the popular Solsteads NFT project tweeted that it is on the shortlist of projects to be onboarded into OpenSea.

The addition of Solana projects and the SOL token to OpenSea will be a watershed event in the NFT community. The Solana NFT community behind Ethereum in practically every parameter, but they may now join forces on OpenSea.

The integration adds even more legitimacy to the evolution of a multichain world while also increasing Solana’s trustworthiness. The more Solana is accepted and integrated, the more skeptics who believe the network is inefficient will be silenced.
