With the 2021 International Ice Hockey Federation World Championship underway in Riga, Latvia through June 6, Crypto.com NFT is excited to announce that the platform will be offering highlights commemorating on-ice action, trophy-winning goals and incredible plays from ice hockey history in packs of collectible NFTs called IIHF Snipes. The IIHF is the governing body of international ice hockey with 81 member associations, each of which is the national governing body of the sport in its nation. Each pack will contain three memorable moments from the IIHF’s archive of legendary matches, and will only be available to buy and sell at Crypto.com/NFT. For the first time, international hockey fans can face-off for a chance to score a piece of their national teams’ histories.

In total, there will be 48 unique collectibles distributed among 501 packs. The game highlights will be minted with varying levels of rarity: for some collectibles, 50 editions will be made; for others, only 20; and the rarest will be one of a kind. Generated at random, and available for $100 each, the packs may include any combination of the three collectibles — which can be virtually unwrapped and kept or traded with other collectors on the Crypto.com NFT platform.
