Happier times: Everything has a beginning
This post marks the beginning of a very long journey that the CryptoControl team has had with the public launch of our app, today.
I believe it’s very important for the general public for me to write this, to explain to people, what the company is about, what we’re trying to do and where we’ll be headed in the future.
Just briefly, what the hell is CryptoControl?
CryptoControl is simply an information site for crypto. It mainly you track crypto news from over 1000+ different sources, track market data and let’s you manage your crypto portfolio.
Right now, it’s primarily available on mobile. The web version is also live, but the mobile gives a much more richer experience.
News is what CryptoControl is really good at. Which is why we often like to call it as “the Google-news for Crypto”.
So why did we build it in the first place?
Because news is really really important and it plays such a huge part in our daily lives.
Our goal is to make CryptoControl eventually a source where people can find all kinds of information in just one place. This would make people more smarter/aware when it comes to crypto.
So really, our mission here is to create a product that’ll help grow and serve the crypto-community. That’s it.
We’re starting off with news, because news is what we do really really well.
Just to elaborate.
This screenshot on the left showcases the news screen page of the mobile app.
Notice how each article is tagged with the coin that it is mentioning? And right below that we have a list of similar articles that are talking about the same article?
That’s some of the magic that our news engine is capable of and we’re trying to do our best in making it better; so that our users always get the most relevant and high quality news articles possible.
