Help Us Finalize the Certified Ethereum Professional Exam & Certification

Contribute to our Gitcoin Grant today.

Last week, we launched a grant on Gitcoin to help us finalize the Certified Ethereum Professional exam and certification. In just about 72 hours, we raised almost 500DAI and 700+ matched DAI.

If you’re not familiar with Gitcoin Grants, it’s where people can fund their open source projects for public benefit with QF (Quadratic Funding) matching contributions from Gitcoin’s QF Fund sponsored by donors in the Ethereum ecosystem. This means that your contributions will be met by matching funding, widening the reach of your donation. If 10 persons contribute by 1DAI (= 1 USD) the QF matching will be higher than if only 1 person is contributing by 10DAI or 2 persons by 5DAI. TLDR — By making an individual donation, you can have a huge impact! Just 1 DAI contributed = 28DAI matched this round!

Here’s how this Gitcoin Grant will help C4:

  • Finish & launch the Certified Ethereum Professional exam and certification
  • Create an official preparatory course & exam study booklet for the CEP to help individuals learn about Ethereum and prepare for the exam
  • Translate the CEP exam into multiple languages so individuals around the world can take the exam in their native language

Currently, the Certified Ethereum Professional Committee meets weekly, and members Stefan Beyer, Shayan Eskandari, Joshua McDougall, and Andrew Warshaver have already written the exam. If you want to learn more about how this Gitcoin Grant will help C4, watch this video:

Thanks as always for being a member of our community. We appreciate your help in launching the CEP today!
