After many months of work, we are delighted to announce that the Cryptograph platform will be going live on July 6th. Even more exciting, is our first series of auctions that will feature original creations from some of the most notable pioneers in the cryptosphere, starting on July 8th at 5pm UTC.

As we increasingly live, meet and interact digitally, collectors have been looking for new ways to showcase and express themselves in this new world. The last few years have revealed a tectonic shift in digital content as now a string of 0s and 1s can be immutably owned, shared, and traded thanks to blockchain technology. We are witnessing the beginnings of a new content model for the internet, where creators can sell digital creations the same way that an artist can sell a physical painting today. An internet based on value and ownership, not just on likes and views. We have been watching this at Cryptograph, and we are now ready to make our mark in this new and exciting world.

A Cryptograph is a one-of-a-kind digital creation made by a world-renowned icon or artist that supports a charitable cause, forever. A Cryptograph can be anything as long as it is digital, such as a song, a video, an artwork, a piece of prose, a performance, a 3D design. Physical creations can also be digitised to create a Cryptograph, and the physical “original” is destroyed so that the creation can fully transcend into the digital realm. Thanks to blockchain technology a Cryptograph is truly owned by its collector and it cannot be forged. Each Cryptograph is truly unique and designed to exist forever, it is in essence a digital legacy that brings its owner closer to the creator they admire.
The Cryptograph Platform
Cryptograph is a discovery platform built on the Ethereum Blockchain. On our website, fans and collectors can come to explore, experience, collect, and trade unique digital creations made by world-renowned icons and artists. Cryptographs are initially auctioned off on our platform using an innovative auction model that rewards every bidder who takes part (detailed in a post that will be published later this week), after which the Cryptographs can be traded between collectors forever on the secondary market. Each Cryptograph supports a charitable cause close to its creator’s heart, and every time the Cryptograph is transacted it automatically raises money for its creator and for its charitable cause, forever. Our platform gives creators an entirely new way to monetize their talent and creativity and allows them to truly realize the intrinsic value of their work over the long term, whilst at the same time delivering great philanthropic impact.
Perpetual Altruism
Perpetual Altruism, the social enterprise behind Cryptograph, was founded by a team of entrepreneurs, impact investors, and blockchain pioneers who are passionate about using technology to do good. At the heart of the Cryptograph platform is the desire to support creators and the charitable causes that they care about. Every time a Cryptograph is transacted, money is donated to the creator’s cause, forever. Thanks to this sustainably philanthropic model, creators, charities, collectors, and Perpetual Altruism are all incentivised to make sure that each Cryptograph generates a long-term positive social impact.
Technology
The Cryptograph platform is built on the Ethereum blockchain and uses smart contract technology to process and automate all transactions in a secure and transparent environment.
All Cryptograph data, transaction records and the logic code to trade Cryptographs are all on the blockchain, and anyone can interact with the smart contract directly by calling the relevant functions, without the need to rely on our website. Once published, a Cryptograph will exist forever and will always follow the smart contract trading rules, even if our company were to cease to exist.
