Jamie Jackson’s Cryptograph

Jamie Jackson’s Cryptograph ‘Growth’

Jamie’s Cryptograph is a fairly abstract and graffiti like artwork. It has been crafted beautifully using a series of different layers to give a greater sense of depth to the viewer. In his first layer we see a dark black background with what appears to be square white faces in it. Then in his second and third layers we see a variety of what appears to be black and red circular faces. The title of Jamie’s work is Growth and it does indeed look like the faces he has drawn are growing out of the canvas towards the viewer.

Miss Brightside

Katie Bright is a British artist based in Hollywood. She is known for her fairytale-like drawings, which can be found everywhere from hotel murals to theatrical masks. Her intention is to bring aspects of 18th century French salons to the modern day, with a whimsical twist, and in this way her art is quite reminiscent of Pablo Bronstein. With almost 20 years of experience as an artist having worked for designers like Akira Isogawa and brands like the United Colours Of Benetton, Katie is also the creator of the Welcome to the Brightside Agency. Her company works with a melting pot of creatives in all spectrums of the arts to deliver unique projects, wallpapers, murals, books, illustrations, installations and more.

Miss Brightside’s Cryptograph

Miss Brightside’s Cryptograph ‘Rampage’

Katie’s Cryptograph, Rampage (Mad World 2020), is the result of 500 hours of work, carried out during Covid19 lockdown. Her Cryptograph is full of incredibly detailed drawings with images ranging from memento mori skulls to bees and butterflies and many other symbols of life and rebirth. Her Cryptograph is part of a larger series of works, known as her ‘Mad World’ series, which are all inspired by Picasso’s Guernica. However instead of a visual narrative about the act of war, Miss Brightside responds with an internal battle, a war on the self.

Jamie Jackson and Miss Brightside are both brilliant artist and creatives. Jamie’s Cryptograph is raising funds for the charity, Special Effect, who bring fun and inclusion back into the lives of people with physical disabilities by helping them to play video games. Miss Brightside’s is supporting the Los Angeles Mayor’s Fund to help provide much needed assistance to those most affected by the current pandemic in the city. We are very proud to have them both on the Cryptograph platform.
