CryptoKitties: Now Made in China™

Accompanying our China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan launch is a minor UI addition (and some other small tweaks)

With so many cats already being bred in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, we wanted to give users an easy way to see where the cat is from and what language its bio is in.

Here’s what you need to know about the Chinese bio indicator:

• This indicator — or at least this version of it — is temporary
• The indicator is not a blockchain feature (i.e. it is not part of a CryptoKitty’s DNA; it’s only apparent on the website)

We’re already seeing an influx of new players, and the potential confusion of suddenly seeing so many cats speaking another language is something we wanted to address.

You may notice some other UI improvements just went live as well…
