CryptoKitties411 held a Fancy contest. We liked it so much, we’re getting Fancy too!

The inimitable Jody from CryptoKitties411 recently had an awesome contest where the community generated their own Fancy Cat recipes. Players chose a selection of traits and then named the Kitty after its new look: The Aviator, for instance, was made with koala + rascal + sandalwood + coffee + otaku.

The contest was so popular that RollDiceClub decided to create mockups of all the suggested cats! And can we just say they’re super insanely cute?

Jody decided it was impossible to judge them based on any objective metrics because they were all so wonderful, so she randomly choose a winner from the entries: Raccoon cat!

The gold medal for the contest, courtesy of KittyHats, will go to the Kitty of Maine Coon Love’s that most resembles a raccoon: this adorable maincoon.

We were absolutely in love with your creative submissions, and we’re thrilled to let you know that we’re going to create a Fancy Cat inspired by the contest.

We want to make sure that finding this future Fancy will be fun, so we’re not using a recipe directly from the contest. Instead, we’ll get funky with our favourite contestant’s creation in order to make the final Fancy recipe, so you’ll have to get creative to figure it out. We’ll announce in what way the recipe has changed once the Fancy Cat is ready to launch! Good luck!
