Fancy an experiment?

We love how important Fancy Cats are to the game, but we also know that no system is perfect. That’s why we’re exploring options for how to make Fancy chasing more democratic. We want everyone to have equal opportunities, and equal fun, getting their paws on a Fancy of their own. So we’re doing an experiment worthy of Doc Purr (but don’t worry, we’re making sure he steers well clear of this particular laboratory!).

This Thursday, at 5pm PST, the community will get together on Twitch to chase a particularly colourful Fancy. It’s all part of our Thursday Purrsday event, and if you’ve never attended one you’re missing out on some pretty incredible shenanigans.

The Fancy we’ll be unlocking is a little different than what you’ve seen before. Instead of having a limit on the number of Fancies you’ll be able to unlock, this Fancy has a time limit: you’ll be able to breed as many as you want until the clock runs out on June 30th, 2018. (Pssssst that’s a pretty big hint to the nature of this Fancy feline!) We hope this will give any player who wants a shot a chance to get this Fancy, which, after all, is all about inclusion.

Plus, this is a three-trait Fancy, which means you’ll only need to be looking for three traits in the recipe to create this proud Kitty.
