Fancy Cats: Meet the Golden Kitty, Earnie!

It only took three and a half hints to unlock one of our shiniest Fancy Cats yet: Earnie. Congratulations to Kitty 512684 for leading us into a golden age!

“Hi. I’m Earnie, but most people know me as atomic number 79. While it’s rude to ask, my standard atomic weight is 196.966569(5). I was created to honour a momentous event, but some say I am merely the emissary for something greater. Stay golden!”

The momentous event Earnie’s referencing is Product Hunt’s Golden Kitty Awards, which took place in January. CryptoKitties was nominated in the Crypto product category, and thanks to the amazing support of our community, we came in second for the prestigious award, rocking over 1,100 votes.

Earn.com took the first place prize, so we named this Fancy Cat in their honour. This monument to their success will outlive us all!
