We want to hear your best blockchain learning stories

CryptoKitties, as we all know, is built on a foundation of blockchain technology. But what you might not know is that one of Axiom Zen’s overarching goals is to introduce non-technical users to blockchain technology. It’s the reason we built CryptoKitties: to be a fun, easy introduction to blockchain.

We know blockchain is going to be huge. We want people to be comfortable with it so that when it explodes there will be thousands, if not millions, of users who already understand its incredible potential. If we fear that which we do not understand, the best way for a new technology to succeed is to be transparent (and fun!). And since blockchain’s complexity makes that difficult… we launched CryptoKitties.

There are some incredible potential uses for the blockchain. It’s poised to revolutionize everything from banking to art. But if users don’t understand the technology they won’t trust it, and if they don’t trust it they’ll never let it into their homes or lives in any meaningful way.

That’s why we want to hear about your own blockchain learning experiences. Did CryptoKitties help demystify wallets and exchanges? Did it teach you about blocks, or Ethereum mining? Did you come away from it with new knowledge, or, perhaps, did it engage you enough that you went and sought out knowledge you wouldn’t otherwise have known to look for?
