When is CryptoKitties coming to Greater China?
A lot of questions have arisen since we announced our partnership with Animoca and our iOS app release in Greater China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
Here’s what you need to know.
The mobile app is complete
Our development, design, and translation teams deserve a huge round of applause. As those of you who tuned into our livestream know, the team worked through the weekend to make sure that we were ready for the week of the Chinese New Year.
The mobile app is launching in Asia first
CryptoKitties has a diverse international audience, and we intend to get our mobile app everywhere possible as soon as possible. But it will only be in Asia to start.
The mobile app needs to be approved
Any app released via Apple’s app store needs to be reviewed and approved. This process can take anywhere from 24 hours to three weeks. Apple’s Beijing team will be responsible for this review and it’s Chinese New Year — it won’t be approved this week.
