The Future is Now — A CryptoMotors and Rare Designer collaboration
Inspired by the GEN1 Abyssus and our first Design Challenge, Rare Designer created a limited, very rare artwork. It’s on sale right now!
Hey guys and gals! We got amazing news for both NFT collectors and art fans.
As a part of a collaborative project, the concept artist Rare Designer created a limited, very rare piece of artwork called The Future is Now, inspired by the GEN1 Abyssus and the theme of the first CryptoMotors Design Challenge.
Here’s the result:
Only 3 editions of this artwork were created. The Future is Now is currently on sale in KnownOrigin.io. One edition was sold for 8 ETH in just a few hours.

About the artwork
Rare Designer was inspired by the Cyberpunk theme from our first CryptoMotors Design Challenge and the avatar, Serenay.
The futuristic look of Y43 city, the colors, the essence of the character, and, of course, the design of the Abyssus helped Rare Designer to put in motion his amazing skills and creativity and create such a fantastic piece of art.
Rare Designer defined the artwork as follows:
“The Future is now is about a Deity. A Cyberpunk woman who left the Abyssus, denoting the soul of someone trapped in the form of a car, the soul of the Abyssus. Delicate, innovative, and clean lines that make anyone fall in love with its beauty.”
He believes that recently many projects have been born to change the future of this generation.
“Our duty as visual artists is to move with the trend of the digital era,” he said.

CryptoMotors’ description:
She always aims to experience the extreme in everything she does. She is addicted to speed and always on the hunt for the next adrenaline rush. When Serenay races, she’s the last one to hit the break when going into sharp corners, risking it all to feel the excitement of what technology can do. Technology also defines the appearance of her race suit and fashionable clothes. Instead of human hair, Serenay has wires linking the helmet directly to her spine, generating instant feedback from the visual to her body.
Rare Designer’s description:
Her soul was trapped in virtual reality, becoming a cyberpunk deity whose goal is to catch the best vehicles of the VR ecosystem and turn them into custom pieces, similar to the Abyssus. Her name is Serenay GEN1.

A brief story about this collaboration
Like many other projects we’ve got involved in, The Future is Now was the result of a friendly encounter. This particular one occurred on Token Smart’s Discord server, a community of NFT collectors, developers, and artists who share their work and experiences with their peers.
We met with Rare Designer, and we both got instantly hooked up for each other’s work and passion for art and design. We decided we had to combine forces to create something amazing together.
We genuinely love this community and the people involved in it. The Future is Now artwork is simply a part of our vision as designers, entrepreneurs, and crypto-collectible enthusiasts.
