Improving CryptoPanic Front Page
CryptoPanic was born solving my own problem — following news and understanding what is happening right now in cryptocurrency space without running through multiple news sources. And nothing has changed since — all the features we continue to develop and experiment with are based on needs at this very moment.
I start my day by opening CryptoPanic and drinking my coffee and often I caught myself in situation where I can’t see what is actually important right now unless I start using filters. Not a big deal — just few clicks and you have all the Hot! or Rising posts. However I felt there was a place for improvements.
By putting existing development aside and experimenting for a few days the new front-page was complete! Now you can see what is important just by opening CryptoPanic and taking a look at the right side column where you will find Trending, Recent Comments and Top Gainers & Losers (top 50 only) sections. Hope you find this improvement helpful!
PS. Few more extreme ideas were born during experimenting, but require more proper thought before publishing it:
