VM Projects

My favorite of these so far is definitely VM Comics, but coming up we will see utility for the VM Gorillas NFT in the VM P2E game.
There is also a secondary market for all VM sales, which I’m sure will become more active in the future when the project sells out and starts to show its true utility on the Avalanche blockchain.

Let’s address each of these points addressed in the tweet.
1. Various Drops
VM NFT is a community builder that invests in the community.
VM NFT is just 2 Avax and yet holders have already received mint rewards plus three NFTs with more on the way, including the next issue of VM Comics.
VM Gorillas, VM Hats, and VM Comics Issue #1 have been airdropped to every wallet that minted a VM NFT. The first issue was split into 3 different NFTs each containing 4 pages of the mint for 12 pages in total. A collector would need to mint more comics or rather buy them on the secondary market in order to complete the collection.
VM NFT minters also receive 50% of all secondary sales for these NFTs.
More drops are on the way, including Issue #2 of VM Comics, which will also (probably) be split into a few different NFTs.
2. Collectable Comics
VM Comic issues are actually split into 3 different NFTs, which will make it a collectors item on the secondary market. All secondary sales are rewarded to the original holder as a percentage of the sales transaction.

3. P2E with VM Gorillas
The P2E (Play to Earn) game will utilize the VM Gorilla NFT, which has been already airdropped to every VM NFT holder. You can also mint a new VM Gorilla from the native VM Projects market for 1 Avax.
The game will be a side-scrolling platformer where you control a gorilla and collect coins as you go. There will be leaderboards and benefits for high scoring players. Please follow this medium page and the official VM discord and Twitter for the latest updates on this game so you can be ready to play when it launches.
4. Metaverse Development
According to an update from Aza, the Project Founder:

It was announced a few weeks ago that MainLeaf would be the main developer the metaverse. Gradually but surely, the future of VM Projects is being built alongside the great developments of the Avalanche network.
Surprise NFT Giveaways for Community Members
Last week, VM NFT’s Discord page hosted many previously unannounced NFT giveaway contests. Over the course of a few days, many NFTs were transferred in short (less than 24 hours) giveaway contests on the Discord page. If you were active on the channel and twitter, you would see the announcement and be able to participate for very good odds of winning. In order to participate, you had to have the verified VM NFT owner role on the Discord.
If you’re involved with Avalanche NFT at all, you must have heard about Chikn.Farm. FarmLand is a sold out project that integrates with the Chikn NFT tokenomic structure. It’s worth about 5.5 Avax last time I checked, but the wiser move would be to hold it.
Anyway, VM NFT had a giveaway for this very valuable NFT!
Very seriously cool thing to do for the Avalanche community! The people at VM NFT know that giving is a two-way lane and that the positive energy being sent out comes back to the sender. This is not some mystical idea but rather a law of nature or an interpretation of the law of physics about action and reaction. But if you prefer the old-school tone, you can say “you reap what you sow”. Very good things are happening with this kind of generosity and community involvement. The roots are digging deeper right now.
VM NFTs is listening to its community.
Personally, I think Stephen and Greg have perfect ideas and I agree with that as the long term direction of the project.
Stephen says he wants to see a collab with as many projects as possible where game characters buy weapons and gear using the integrated vending machine. I think that is a fantastic idea! It makes logical sense, especially when I remember my multiverse vending machine dreams…
Greg thinks it would be awesome to sell other NFTs from the VM. I think that is very cool, and in a way, it’s kind of already happening when you look at how Vending Machines NFT is itself vending out NFTs to its owners and will continue to in the future. But I do think it would be cool to somehow expand on this in the future. VM NFT could have an extension app partnered with NFTier for ease of re-supply, borrowing the re-supply mechanics from Solana’s Star Atlas.
So much is possible with this project which is why getting in early now is so exciting, not just in VM Projects but being involved with Avalanche in general. There’s a lot of cool stuff happening.
