We are pleased to announce that we have launched our code2ui functionality on the Cryzen platform. By default, users will now see the UI version of an algo / strategy (if it has one) and have the option to toggle into the underlying code if they so choose (described below).

How does it work?

Simple! A user tags a variable as a parameter (i.e. NDAYS = param(7, type=’num’, values=[1,1,20]) ) and this will auto-generate a corresponding UI element (shown below). Upon generation, the user can now switch to UI mode and input a value for this parameter (this will also update the code behind the scenes due to 1:1 mapping between the UI and code version of an algo). For a visual representation, refer to the gif below:

Demo of Code2UI functionality. (CAPITAL_BASE value was edited on the UI and the change was reflected in the code.)

As a result, users can now edit strategies through a simple UI. This new functionality allows for a broader audience to participate in algorithmic trading, without ever having to write a single line of code.

We believe that people should be limited by concepts, and not by technical knowledge related to implementation. This code2ui conversion tech will take us another step forward towards democratizing algo trading.

In the name of democratization, we encourage everybody to give us feedback on their experience and provide input on what features they believe Cryzen should implement in the near future. Feel free to comment below, contact us on Social Media or email us directly at support@cryzen.com.
