Body image (n); a person’s feelings regarding the aesthetics or sexual attractiveness of their own body.

Despite being an immensely personal take on how one defines and feels about his or herself, the prevalence of media stereotypes and standards have led to such standards increasingly becoming the standard by which people measure themselves against — and these may be forced onto them by others or social media.

The idea aims to draw to attention the struggles humans face in reconciling with their body image, and showcase how the standards defined by the media cause individuals to chase oft-unrealistic images.
