Our Final Project

Over the course of our project, we decided to narrow our focus on foreign workers to foreign domestic helpers. Their contributions to our nation in bridging the gap left by the many working parents in Singapore are indispensable. Focusing instead on the individual who stands for so much more than their job, we wanted to use our project to highlight the various sacrifices made by domestic helpers, in particular, ones that we take most for granted. Familiarity, comfort, family and freedom are among some of their abnegations we have decided to capture in our material.
