The Casper Wallet mobile public beta has kicked off 🎉🎉 here’s everything you need to know

Ready to test drive Casper Wallet on mobile? The app is now officially in open beta. Everything you need to know about how to participate is below. Once you’ve had a chance to sample the features don’t forget to log your feedback at feedback.casperwallet.io/mobilebeta.

Setup

1. Download the latest Casper Wallet extension

As part of the test, you need the latest version of Casper Wallet extension. Download here.

2. Install the Casper Wallet mobile app

• iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/casper-wallet/id6446363274

3. Sync your accounts (IMPORTANT!)

Follow the instructions here to sync: https://www.casperwallet.io/user-guide/import-casper-wallet-to-your-mobile-app

4. Switch your mobile wallet to Testnet

You can do this in the Settings menu

Tap next to “Casper Network” to switch to Testnet

Areas to Test

1. Sync your accounts between Casper Wallet extension and mobile using the QR code (see above)
2. Set up biometric authentication
3. Transfer tokens from the app
4. Visit CSPR.live using the in-app browser.
5. Connect an account to CSPR.live using the in-app browser. Try switching accounts.
6. Try funding your account using the in-app browser on CSPR.live (don't forget to switch to Testnet!)
7. Try transferring testnet CSPR between your accounts
8. Send testnet CEP-18 tokens to your wallet address (if you have some)
9. Reset your wallet
10. Create new accounts within your wallet
11. Review deploy activity and make sure it looks accurate
12. Explore the different Settings options

Providing Feedback

What feedback can you provide:

1. Bugs and crashes
2. Usability issues (anything that’s unintuitive, surprising, annoying, or confusing)

Where to provide it:

Feedback can be logged as tickets on feedback.casperwallet.io/mobilebeta.

Post bugs preferably with screenshots/videos where possible, along with make & model of your phone and your operating system name and version (iOS 11 or Android 12 etc.).

If you encounter a bug, try to provide steps to reproduce where possible.

Share your positive experiences and suggestions for improvement too.
