Through peer analysis, regional mapping, and data analytics, student consultants from UCG created a Benchmark Recommendations Report to help the charity build its new service.

Community Action for Humanity

Founded in Uganda in 2019 by the Mitti family, Community Action for Humanity is a community based nonprofit organisation working to achieve the United Nation’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The organisation traces its root to the Mitti family who started encouraging students to complete school and hosted the first holiday career guidance talk at Mbunga Primary School on December 28th 2018. Not only did the talk create a more positive attitude for students towards completing school, but it also highlighted the many challenges that hindered their educational progress. These challenges, shared by many communities, pushed for the creation of a Community Based Organisation to tackle them. Community Action for Humanity was founded with that purpose and with the slogan “The Voice of Transformation”. CAH works with different state governments and development partners to achieve the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable development in rural and hard to reach communities.

Universal Consulting Group

Founded in 2020, Universal Consulting Group (UCG) is a non-profit student-led global consultancy. UCG provides its student consultants volunteers with practical industry experience, and empowers and trains them through its Education Department. The group represents the University of Strathclyde, Oxford Brookes University, London School of Economics, University of Warwick, University of Exeter, King’s College London, Webster University and De Montfort University. Through its work, the organization has acquired expertise in Strategy consulting, Operations consulting, Financials advisory and HR consulting.

University Consulting Group has developed a Benchmark Recommendations Report to support CAH implementation of a new service focused on tackling gender and youth-based violence and abuse. This is the third project CAH completes with CSRN with previous ones achieving great success in their implementation.
