Now you can start creating your personalised 3D Cubegon characters. Explore a world of limitless creativity and build your awesome characters. LET’S GO!

As you all know, Cubego game was born to offer the next level of blockchain-based game, which turns player’s imagination into reality by letting them build their own personalized 3D characters. The first phase of the Cubego’s roadmap, Cubegon Character Building Feature, is now open, you can enter HERE. You can now find in Cubego store the limited Rare and Epic Cubegoes, the important components to create strong characters and start building your own squad.

Players characters will finally take shape and all will be securely stored on blockchain. As the function is already live, players can now build, register and own their characters in the wallet to share or trade. Character trading will soon be available on OpenSea marketplace. Moreover, players can see their Cubegons joining the demo battleground after being created. It will give players the most intuitive look before the battle mode goes live.

Every character in Cubego is unique. The earlier you start, the more freedom you will have to build your own characters. Other players cannot replicate any Cubegon you build as a new Cubegon shape must be at least 15% different from any existing one.

Creating a new character will also register you as the owner of the character’s copyright, making you the only one who can create color variants of the model. You can create more variants to sell them in market. Copyright ownership is also transferrable as it ties to your Cubegons.

As much as we like to think it is, at this beta stage, the Character building feature needs players’ inputs and suggestions. Your feedback will push the product roadmap forward and improve Cubego features the way you really want.

Walk-through: How to build Cubegon?

Step 1: Setup account

Setup an account in game, which is only a few steps away. Blockchain game offers you a greater level of ownership over your game assets, and as such requires some different setup steps compared to normal games. Not yet familiar with blockchain game? Worry not as you can find a step-by-step guide here!

Step 2: Get cube blocks

Get blocks called “Cubegoes” to build character, there are 2 ways to get “Cubegoes” in game

- High-tier Cubegoes: sold in store in different Cube Packs in Store here.

- Common Cubegoes: supplied unlimitedly and can be bought at the stage of creating Cubegons. You don’t need to purchase them before creating. Instead, create character first, then check out and pay for these Common cubes.

Step 3: Build characters

At this stage, you can freely build your characters from cube blocks called Cubegoes, including Epic and Rare cubegoes which you can collect in store, and Common Cubegoes which can be bought at the character creating step.

You will start with drawing the character you want by choosing any Cubego materials and colors. Maximum 4 Cubego materials are allowed in each character, but there is no limit for the color you can choose within those 4 materials.

Once you are satisfied with how your character looks, click “Preview” to see more details. The page shows your Cubegon’s properties including: Type, No of Cubegoes, Tier and Stats range and Stats distribution.

Common Cubegoes can be purchased here to complete your character. Also, you can choose the energy capacity for it. Energy is required to fight in arena. Though in the future you can top up your energy, you will need to pay the full price of the energy capacity you want to upgrade to. For example, if you decide to purchase 10 energy now at 0.05 ETH, to increase it to 30 afterwards, you will need to pay the full price of 0.14 ETH, not the price difference.

Note that to ensure the uniqueness of each and every creation, the same/similar models will not be accepted and preview step will be blocked, as shown in the image below. You need to alter the design to meet the threshold.

Step 4: Register your Cubegon design

Click “Register Cubegon”

Once your Cubegon is registered, it can be found in “Pending Cubegons” tab under Inventory. Character is not yet created, but you will be given 12 hours to create it and during this time, your design is protected.

Step 5: Create character onto Blockchain

After registering a character, you will have 12 hours to make transaction and create it onto the blockchain.

Once your Cubegon is created, it will badged “Original”. Owning an “Original” Cubegon also means owning the copyright of that Cubegon model, thus, you will have an exclusive right to create material/color variants of that Cubegon model to develop a squad of Cubegons sharing a common model.
